The path from the temple to the beach, 15:30

I woke up early again. I find once I wake up I cannot go back to sleep. I therefore had the Saturday laundry starting its cycle in the washing machine before 8:00.

I spent the morning cleaning, brushing, sweeping and watering plants and then had a late breakfast or early lunch, depending on how I chose to think of it.

In the afternoon I walk down to the beach and, as I pass it, I decide to photograph this notice before it disappears forever. It commemorates the community effort put into renovating the path I walk along, which had slowly turned into a set of bumps and craters over the time we have used it.

I will sit at Leo reading the last story in my Anita Desai collection, The Artist of Disappearance. I will have two lassis and a jaffle because I feel like going wild at the weekend.
