I come back from a frustrating DGD session at Sisp, and I decide I cannot stand sitting indoors anymore. The rain seems to have finally stopped and I head to the beach to sit in Leo and watch the world pass by.

I sit with my pineapple lassi (mango having gone out of season) and brood.

The frustration stems from the endless issues with wifi connectivity and Microsoft’s version of security. It has become impossible to play Minecraft locally without first logging in over the internet. This leaves no possible fallback position for those times when modems cease to work, or the internet goes on holiday.

My attention gets drawn to this odd sculptural thing on the beach and I take another photograph of it. I have a second lassi while contemplating it.
