Between the anganwadi and Udaya’s house, 14:00

I walk to Udaya’s house to ask Leka if any new parcels have arrived. They haven’t.
On the way back I stop to look at a field of laundry. Many of the hotels use a local man who washes the sheets and covers in a local stream and then spreads them out over bushes or on the ground to dry.
Many local people use this method too. You can see sheets, shirts, trousers, and more, hanging over bushes and walls or laying in gardens waiting for the sun to dry them.
Does this count as unhygienic? Not around here, apparently.
