Saija came to clean this morning because she couldn’t come on Tuesday. I move around the house to keep out of her way.

In the afternoon, my writing finished for the day, I go for a walk to the beach. I walk along the back alley to see if anything has happened in The Village. It has: men paint walls and fix the floor, and a young woman tells me that Hari will return from Sweden on the 20th.

I walk down to the beach and along, and I spot Sunu NK hard at work repainting the frontage of Puppy Café. He smiles at me and I take his photograph.
