Today has had a lot of rain and a lot of thunder, and a lot of the kind of humid air that makes you want to spend the day swimming or standing under a shower.

We went to see Praman’s body, lying on a bed at home, and commiserated with Usha, who had a bunch of women around her in the bedroom.

Now I have decided to lay on the floor in the work room under the fan, where the air feels coolest, and photograph it. Time passes.

Photographing the fan in motion does not prove very easy but eventually I end up with this. Double exposures, layering, and post-processing took place.
