Maunula talo, 12:34

Today the Finnish Indian Association, officially Suomen-Intia-Seura celebrates its 75th anniversary with an event that Shefali has organised. Irma helps and I help her to help.
When we arrive gangs of young helpers put the finishing touches to displays that involve industrial quantities of balloons and taffeta. I notice that the piano at the rear of the hall has somehow collected a collection of different sizes of balloons, all of which share one thing. They have been abandoned.
I photograph them as they move around shyly in the breeze that comes in whenever someone opens or closes the door.
