Front terrace, 16:45

The day began at 4 am when a huge downpour of rain woke me up. I got up to check if I needed to bring anything in from the garden. I didn’t.
I went back to sleep thinking that I had no real idea whether the rain had just started or not.
The rain continued all day, with a convenient ninety minute break for me to go to Prisma to buy bread rolls for when Naa and Joona come round this evening.
In the afternoon I open the front door and put my head out to see if the rain has stopped. Sort of, I say.
The plants drip with rain, new and old.
