This morning I stepped out into weather about twenty degrees less than I expected. The Helsinki morning began with heavy rain and then cleared up to become warm enough to go out in a hooder by the time I returned our passports to the Indian Embassy.

I then set off to explore, and found this statue behind Lasipalatsi. Made by Kim Simonsson in 2022, it has the title Bringer of Light and forms part of a set of such statues begun in 2010 and called Moss Giants.

I could see some of the others at the Amos Anderson museum if I wanted. And I might.
