Today I have a full-scale retki, because Irma has a lot of work to do at home and doesn’t want any disturbance. I finally travel the full length of the new Number 15 tram route, from Itäkeskus to Keilaniemi in Espoo.

The journey takes just over an hour and travels along the border of the B zone, so that my ticket never stops working. It passes through a surprising amount of seemingly rural areas and at some points reminds me of the journey the Dart takes in Dublin to get from the centre to Tallaght.

We pass the Sello shopping centre at some point in this, before travelling through the Aalto University campus in Otaniemi and ending up at Keilaniemi.

As soon as I get off at the terminus I can see the sea, so I walk down and then take a stroll along part of the Espoo Waterfront Walkway.

On the way back I count the trams going the other way. If I counted accurately the number 15 tram route uses 22 trams.
