In the afternoon we drove to Sundö to begin the process of emptying the summer house that we have rented for the past seventeen years. It needs renovating and Mika cannot renovate it while we camp there.

We survey everything and work out what needs doing, how long it will take, and when we can start doing it. We also stand chatting with Mika and Camilla, catching up on news and explaining our plans.

At 17:00 we head to Benita’s for the midweek market. I notice that the freshly painted mobile library bus has arrived.
