The weather has got even hotter and we decide to cycle to the beach. When we get there we head to Café Meridian where we find an atmosphere that has much more in common with Benita’s in Pellinge than we expected.

As we sit there looking out at the sea the resemblance becomes uncanny as someone arrives in a vintage car. I walk over to look at it and, to my amazement, notice that the Jaguar has the same number plate as the model.

People cannot help themselves walking over to it and peering in. I take a photograph in a quieter moment.
