We have driven to Järvenpää because a Nepalese friend of Päivi and Irma has invited us to a garden party to celebrate the arrival of a delegation from Nepal. These include Upendra Pokharel, the mayor of a city just south of Katmandu and his friend the Principal of Sindhuli Community Technical Institute.

We talk with them for some considerable time and then we eat delicious Tibetan food. I take a portrait of the Principal of the Sindhuli Community Technical Institute without ever learning his name.

The principal may or may not be called Ambar Deep Devkota (the principal certainly had that name in 2019, but I have no photographic proof that the principal remains the same) and this equivocation seemed par for the course since I never really learned exactly why they had come here.
