Aleksanterinkatu, 12:34

I have spent an hour or more with Samu discussing the Wondershop games app that we have running in Kerala. I step outside the building and hear the sounds of revolution.

According to YLE:

Finnish environmental group Elokapina says it aims to stop traffic in downtown Helsinki on Friday by holding a demonstration near the city’s Market Square.

The group, which is the Finnish branch of Extinction Rebellion, said the demonstration is scheduled to begin at 1pm and last until at least the end of the day.

Saturday’s demonstration marks the activist group’s Myrskyvaroitus (Storm Warning) campaign, which the group wants to become the largest series of civil disobedience demonstrations in Finnish history.

I watch the march pass and photograph it heading down Aleksanterinkatu towards the market square.
