As one of the surprise benefits of booking a hotel room, we get free tickets for all modes of public transport inside the Genève canton: boats, buses, trains, trams, and trolley buses. We discover that the number 14 and 18 trams stop more or less outside the hotel.

The weather looks cold and potentially rainy. We decide to explore the length of the number 14 tram.

It goes from Meyrin-Gravière to Bernex. We go to the centre and walk around. We get the tram back and decide not to get off. We drift into the suburbs and end up in the countryside. The terminus at Meyrin-Gravière looks like this: two trams, a few people and some fields.
