Garden, 10:35

Yesterday when I look out of the window I thought I had started hallucinating. The rhubarb had tripled in size in forty eight hours.
This morning I go outside to examine it. We have replanted this several times but it has now settled here in a space left by an old fruit bush that finally died. It obviously likes it here because it has flourished like never before. Its stalks stand stiff and colourful.
The flu seems to have given up. I still have a cough but I no longer feel my head split open when I cough, and I now do this less and less often anyway.
