Meanwhile back in Finland the weather has warmed up remarkably. It appears about ten degrees warmer than what I experienced in London. There I wanted a thicker, warmer jacket most of the time. Here I walk briskly with no cardigan and my jacket open.

I walk around the block and pause to watch some vehicles engaged in momentary truck ballet.

I will spend the afternoon washing and oiling the jetty and the terrace. The sun will shine so brightly that they will both dry so quickly that I will have to keep a careful count of the planks to make sure I don’t spend my time doing the same ones twice.
