We wake to discover that snow has fallen all night, and has not yet stopped. I photograph the end of the road to celebrate the fact that winter has decided not to end.

I will spend a couple of hours clearing the drive and path. The snow has warmed up the ground and so the underlying ice has started to melt. I will end up almost clearing the entire drive of ice and snow.

This will cheer me up.
