We meet Chad and Sally at the restaurant on Beach Road called A Taste of Kerala.

I notice a line of statues, interspersed with plaques. I photograph a sample, initially to see that the plaque says.

Sally and I exchange some books. I give her copies of Anita Nair’s Borei Gowdha police procedural series. She gives me A Covenant of Water.
