Soon a long day will begin in earnest. Before it does I have just enough time to capture an image of the aloe vera plant that has begun to really thrive in the garden.

It hung in the air when we first arrived, since it has air-roots, but apparently it really likes living in the soil because it has now grown huge and shows no sign of finishing its growth.
