Outside the house, 10:22

I notice men walking up and down the road shouting their wares, something that happens a lot and produces results ranging from freshly-caught fish to saucepans or plastic chairs to knife-sharpening, with the sharpening equipment powered by a bicycle.
I look a bit later and notice the men have a range of mattresses strapped to the roof of a perfect-condition Ambassador. As far as I can see they do not sell any; by which I mean that they leave with the same amount strapped to the roof as they arrived with.
This I have not seen before.
