Once upon a time not too long ago Ambassador cars dominated the roads of India. In 2014 Hindustan Motors stopped making them and in the last ten years they have become a much rarer sight.
Hindustan Motors based the Ambassador “on the Morris Oxford series III model, first made by Morris Motors Limited at Cowley, Oxford in the United Kingdom from 1956 to 1959”.
Morris stopped making them, but they didn’t.
