We went to the “new” Smart Bazaar last week. This stands where the old Big Bazaar stood, and Reliance seem to have relaunched it as an even more downmarket version of its previous incarnation.

We went to see what we could find, and it turned out that we could find fruit juice in unlikely combinations. We bought these three and I can now confidently say that I prefer the Chatpata Jamun, with the Chilli Guava a close second. The guava tastes mild but has a pronounced after-kick of chilli. The third one did not seem very memorable: it tasted neither good nor bad.

We will probably never see these again – we suspect they constitute limited editions of some sort – but if we do I will definitely buy some more Chatpata Jamun.
