We first decided we should meet up sometime in June, made a few tentative arrangements that fell apart, rearranged the meeting for sometime in Autumn, and then finally found no way out of it tonight. Tonight, however, proved the end of a day in which snowing hard had featured heavily.

I headed out towards the bus stop at 17:45, with only light snow falling, and got to Sörkan Ruusu just as Ilpo arrived. Aga arrived about ten minutes later, and Oliver turned up about 8pm.

At least our absurd delay in getting together ensured that we had a lot to talk about when we finally did. Aga talked about her new venture Super Eclectic, whose website lives in the same aesthetic meadow as miaaw.net and whose use of EU-funded interns seems something I should explore.

I leave at 21:00 into a full-on snowstorm. I pause under a canopy in Sörnäinen to photograph the scene, just before I disappear down the steps to the fully restored metro station.
