For the first time ever we see a rainbow in the Kerala sky. It looks wider than the rainbows I usually see in Helsinki, and the gradients blend into each other differently. I say this out loud to learn in response that I say something like this every time I see a rainbow in India.

I protest that I have definitely never seen a rainbow in India before, to learn that I say this every time too. I promise myself that I will say it again next year.

I take several photos of today’s rainbow but only one comes close to catching what we actually saw.
