Lighthouse Beach, 15:00

In the early afternoon, after completing my observations at the two most local anganwadis, I decide to walk down to Lighthouse Beach. As I walk I wonder about plurals in Malayalam. One anganwadi, two anganwadis? I must ask Simi at some point.
I get to the beach to stare at a uniformly gray sea. I take a full-colour picture that I might as well have taken in black and white and tinted later.
I sit drinking a lemon mint cooler at the Crab Club as a rainstorm arrives. By the time I finish my papaya lassi it will have gone again.
The gray will remain.
