Turunlinnantie, 11:27

Last month I finished Colson Whitehead’s book Harlem Shuffle, which I then discovered formed the first part of his projected Harlem trilogy. I liked it a lot and checked the library to find that the second book in the series had become available. I ordered it immediately and it came during my trip to London.
Today I collect Crook Manifesto from the library, picking up a copy of Sufjan Stevens and Angelo de Augustine’s covid album A Beginner’s Mind because I saw it on display and decided that listening to something you know nothing about sometimes freshens your mind.
And sometimes doesn’t.
As I leave I see a bunch of sparrows wandering around and photograph the one that still still for long enough.
