Garden, 11:11

Today we have the autumnal equinox, the second time in the year when the day and night have an equal length, and the time that autumn officially begins.

The day illustrates the end of summer quite dramatically. The morning stays bright and hot, and the sky looks as though we have returned to the middle of summer. The afternoon will get cold and dark, as though to illustrate what we have in front of us.

I photograph the morning sky and a lamp post. In the actual summer a bird sits on the wire every morning.
