We have driven to Tampere to meet some people close to Irma. We spent a very jolly afternoon with them, eating and chatting. When we leave we go in search of mustamakkara, a Tampere speciality that Irma loves. Too late!

Apparently you should never buy mustamakkara on a Saturday afternoon, because the people of Tampere will have beaten you to it. We leave the Citymarket empty-handed.

As we drive back I spot a bridge for elks. I can tell its purpose from the fact that the bridge builders have planted trees along it. They persuade the elks that the bridge counts as part of the forest.
