Terbatas iela, 12:34

We used to walk from Mister Page down the old walking street every time we visited Riga. Now Mister Page has gone, but we still walk down the street, Terbatas iela.
It has undergone a lot of change. Shops have come and gone, and whole buildings have disappeared to reappear as new businesses. Two cafés where we stopped seem to have gone.
Towards the bottom of the street I see an empty building looking as though it awaits redevelopment, standing next to a shop that still carries on. The cobbled street in this part has two way traffic, although not very much of it.
I watch as a man approaches two women sitting on a bench and studiously ignores them while they act as though he does not exist.
