We arrived at our apartment in Riga right on time, and the apartment has turned out exactly as we hoped. It seems big enough, comfortable enough, and situated about one hundred metres from Domus Square, in the middle of a quiet road with action at both ends.

We go for a walk and pass this off-duty human statue looking at his phone and drinking beer while leaning against the wall of a side street.

The weather here does not promise rain, and the temperature has risen about eight degrees from the temperature in Helsinki when we left.
