After work, which in my case includes painting a fence, we decide to go to Lidl, and on the way to Lidl we decide to finally visit the Box Café and Grill.

We drive past Lidl and through Söderkullä and stop at Box. The grill turns out even better than we had hoped. Eccentric barely describes it. The decor includes a magazine rack brimming with copies of magazines like Vanhat Konet (Old Machines), full of articles about vintage tractors. In the corner where we sit a vintage motorbike sits under the protection of a helmeted dummy in full leather coat.

The vegetable burgers taste delicious, and everything appears authentically homemade: the fries come from genuine potatoes, the habanero mayonnaise seems homemade, and the portions look gigantic.

We will go again.
