Today Helsinki celebrates its annual Night of the Arts, with all kinds of surprise performances and free gigs. We pass briefly through Stoa where we watch acrobats and others, along with stalls from the library, entertain a wide variety of families and children.

Herttoniemin Kartano has an open day and so we go there to walk around the mansion house. While there we find one of the surprise performances as we find ourselves in what seems like a flashmob and turns out to include the cast and audience for a performance of Antoinette!

We don’t stay for all of it because it appears to have an indeterminate length, but we do stay for long enough to enjoy ourselves and decide to look up Glitcher when we get home.
