For July the summer market expands from Saturday mornings to Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings. We have come to the final evening market of the year – the fourth.

I look up at the sky, which cannot seem to decide what colour it should adopt, and whether it should darken or lighten. In the end it darkens a little but decides not to rain until we have got back into the car and started to drive away.
