Itis, 10:55

After honing his trade as an ambitious apprentice, pharmacist John Kiehl purchases the apothecary. John Kiehl & Co. begins operations in 1851 under the name “Kiehl Pharmacy.” The original Kiehl’s apothecary first served patrons at the corner of 13th Street and Third Avenue in New York City.
Today I stand in Stockmann in Itis, in the Kiehl’s shop-within-a-shop. I find myself staring at the skeleton in white coat that one finds at all the Kiehl’s consession stands.
I find myself thinking that I ought to check to see if they all have identical skeletons. Then I find myself wondering why I would want to do that.
Then I take a photograph that I may or may not use later as evidence.
