We pull into a plot of land at 73 Söderbyintie and walk up the hill to a partly hidden pile of logs. We have permission to gather some for our own use and so we do.

The woods feel soft and mossy underfoot, perhaps because the ground has become covered in soft moss. Trees have obviously fallen here for decades with nobody to worry about them and have slowly melted into the ground.
