I used to do this regularly: photographing myself as a shadow against some single-colour background. I used to try to adopt the perfect pose, an entirely subjective aim with no way of defining success.

I have not done this for some years, or at least not put any out in public. Now I have.

I like the way that the grass pokes through the shadow.
