Puotila Beach, 17:54
The temperature on the thermometer on the terrace reads 38˚ in the middle of the afternoon and so we opt to finish the day by heading to Puotila Beach for a swim.
The beach seems comfortably full and the water colder than I had expected. A large family of ducks sit on the edge of the sand, while other birds wander around.
