The weather has turned into the promised heatwave and we set off for Sundö.

We do a superhuman amount of mowing and reduce the forest of grass and reeds to a lawn in need of further trimming.

Just before we leave to return to Helsinki I check the water level in the well, out of simple curiosity. The water has dropped although the well has not become dry yet, as it has done in a couple of previous years.

Mowing has felt like a profoundly relaxing change from the work we have done the rest of the week.
