Stoa, 12:34
In my last days in Kerala I ordered a cd from the library here, guessing that it would arrived shortly after me. And it has. I cycle to Stoa to collect it.
I have ordered the original Crosby, Stills and Nash album because I realised, when Crosby died recently, that I have never knowingly heard it. I think that the single Marrakesh Express put me off and I skipped straight to Deja Vu where it turned out that I only liked the Neil Young songs anyway.
This may not turn out well. The last time I did this I borrowed a copy of Thunderclap Newman’s album (which I had never heard) which turned out to sound even worse than I had imagined it might sound.
Outside the library I find a structure, Angel Yökai Atä, “a multimodal installation that acts as a portal to access a speculative world beyond direct experience”.
I photograph it.
