Garden, 10:55

I wake up earlier than I hoped to the sound of rain bouncing off one or more of the several tins roofs within earshot. Then I can hear the rain on its own, hitting the leaves and the ground.
Sure enough, when I look out the ground has a covering of branches and leaves.
A couple of hours later the rain suddenly stops, the sun comes out and I emerge to gather up the big jackfruit leaves. In the middle of the garden I see one small jackfruit lying there with nowhere to hide.
