We leave the Subash Centre in two rickshaws and race to Vavamoola, whose spelling depends entirely on who you ask and when you ask them.

We get there just before the club members and I photograph the club room. So we call it a room if it only has three sides, as this space does? For the moment at least I do.

The room has only one electric socket and that powers the ceiling fan. We therefore make sure that all the computers get plugged in as soon as we arrive at the Subash Centre, and stay plugged in the two hours we remain there.

That way they continue to work for just long enough to run the session here. Hooray for logistics, we say.
