The sun has lead to an almost instant change of pace. I get up late and head off for a long walk. I pass along by the sea and end up walking up Vehkalahdentie towards the highway.

I pause to look at the shop for rent in the new block of apartments on the corner of Vehkalahdentie and Itaväylä. In an ideal world a kiosk, probably an R-Kioski, will open here. In a less-than-ideal world a pizza takeaway will open in a burst of unwise optimism and then close again because the possible supply of pizzas locally already exceeds the actual demand.
