Just like that winter returned. It began snowing late yesterday afternoon and has continued every since. We wake up to a proper snowstorm.

I decide to continue with my plan of upgrading my podcasting gear before Rotterdam, which involves travelling across Helsinki to Verkkokauppa in Jätkäsaari. I get to Itäkeskus, the only person on the bus, to discover that it looks and feels like mid-December.

I will eventually get to Jätkäsaari and get the lavalier mikes that I wanted and a splitter. I will get home to discover that the splitter has the wrong plug. I will go back again in snow that has become even deeper and thicker (and still continues to fall thickly).
