Having gone to a doctoral seminar for the first time this year and given Risto a copy of Cultural Democracy Now, I walk three hundred metres to the Nordic Culture Point where I meet Ilpo and sell him a copy of the book. I have come to meet Ilpo, Aga, and Oliver and to watch Oliver and Max Valentin’s event The Ballot.

I spend a very interesting two hours at a panel discussion based around slides of different ballot papers from different countries and different times.
