Garden, 17:50
We got up late, had a long breakfast, and spent most of the day in the garden. I have swept all the leaves from the ground and cleaned all the leaves out of the drains. I have picked up all the dropped and rotting apples, and pulled up a bunch of weeds. I have cleared the dead leaves and mulched berries from the road.
I also discovered that two of the redcurrant bushes have started producing a second crop of fruit. I tasted some and they were completely edible.
Now we have rushed outside. We were sitting chatting in the kitchen while Irma made oven salmon when Naa noticed the sky was bright red. It only ever stays this way for five or six minutes.
We are outside taking photographs of the sky, and taking photographs of each other taking photographs of the sky.
