The snow has settled and the weather forecast suggests that it will continue to fall on and off for the next week. More importantly the temperature will not rise enough to melt it. I therefore finish breakfast and set to with the snowblade for a couple of hours. I wave and nod to the neighbours also marching up and down the road with their snowblades.

By the time I go in we have paths to the shed and the compost and a drive that a car might use safely. Like most people we still have summer tyres.

Irma has not one but two vouchers for Plantagen (more precisely a voucher and a gift card for 23€), and we have walked through the snow to see what we can see there.

Wandering around the shop I notice the outdoor area full of Christmas trees and photograph it before the sliding doors slide shut.

We will return with flowers and candles.
