Samudra, 18:18

We decide to go to Samudra again. When we get there we notice a shop next to the Natesh Café where we intend to eat. We go in to look around.

The shop looks small from the outside but then opens up inside to reveal that it covers the areas of about five shops. The front of the other four look completely closed. It reminds me of the Tardis or, more nearly, of the house the Beatles live in in the movie Help.

The shop contains a mass of stuff in a suitably higgledy-piggledy style. I come across a collection of roughly finished metal vehicles and photograph them.

Asif, the owner, claims that he has almost known us for years: he says that he used to see us on the beach and he lived near us on KS Road.

Eventually we leave and go next door for another set of delicious vegetarian meals.
