Balaramapuram, 15:45

Irma had heard about a village that consisted of a huge market where people make and sell statues, bowl and other terracotta items. We set off in a car to find it.
Sanu, the driver, suggests that the market got almost completely destroyed by the National Highway which drove through, and obliterated, most of the village. Nonetheless we carry on.
We arrive at Balaramapuram, which now exists on either side of a highway and eventually discover some shops where we do indeed find statues and bowls.
I photograph a road junction I find myself standing next to.
