Thanks to Mohan Sir, we had our meeting at the Anganwadi this afternoon. The president of the panchayat attended along with the teacher and several parents, with their children.

The meeting happens in an upstairs room that got added to the building sometime in the past few years. Before the meeting starts I look out one of the upstairs windows and photograph what I see.

The president will agree to our suggestions and give permission for us to use the anganwadi for Scratch Junior sessions once a week. These will involve ten children under six working on pairs on Android tablets. They will start on Friday.

We walk back alongside two parents and realise that every parent at the anganwadi comes from within a couple of hundred metres of where we live.

We will also learn of a second school keen to have us work with them using Scratch Junior on tablets. Enthusiasm am us!
