The woods, 12:34
I go for a walk in the woods while failing to completely absorb the news that the temperature has dropped about fifteen degrees. In Liverpool I walked around in shorts and a t-shirt while worried that the temperature might drop below twenty. Here I walk with a thick jacket on hoping that it rises above ten sometime today.
My failure to spot this will lead to me spending most of the coming week with a heavy head cold that will finally start to melt away on Thursday and Friday.
As I walk I listen to the bird sounds and the wind, and look at the wide variety of browns and greens available. The colour palette here differs greatly from the one used in Liverpool, and the soundscapes bear no relationship to each other at all.
I can quite literally hear the silence as I walk.
